How to Book a Trip: Three Simple Questions
Lowtide Sailing Adventures is a service focused on simplicity: First, we come to an agreement on three key details about what your dream sailing vacation would look like. After that, all you have to do is meet us on the dock with your favorite swim suit and pair of shades!
1. Location
We can go anywhere in the world that has a local charter industry. Here are some of the most popular locations for yachting vacations
-Sea of Cortez
-Virgin Islands
-Bahamas
-Greece
-Spain
-Italy
-Croatia
-France
-Turkey
All locations provide a real sense of adventure, but there are some that have less infrastructure, and so are a bit more "out there." These will be further off the beaten path, whole still being totally safe and approachable for almost anyone
-Thailand
-Sicily
-Seychelles
-Hawai'i
-French Polynesia
2. Crew Size
The crew size determines what kind of boat makes the most sense for your group. The more people there are in the group, the bigger the minimum boat size. For reference, most standard catamarans have 4 double beds for guests, so 6-8 guests is an ideal size. 10-guests is possible on the largest premium catamaran, and for trips 10+, we can have 2 or more vessels buddy-boating together in our own mini flotilla!
3. Budget
Our goal is to work with a wide range of budgets. Trips during shoulder season can be as cheap as $1200-$1300 per person, and trips during high season start at $1400-$1500 per person for 7 days on the water. This fee typically includes everything except food and alcohol. By increasing your budget, you can add amenities and services, such as a more luxurious vessel, air conditioning, a cook/deckhand, or other services to make the trip more easy and convenient for you.
