I went on the Sicily cruise where we sailed through all of the Aeolian islands and it was by far the coolest trip I’ve ever been on, and I wouldn’t have wanted to do it with any other company. Dan was incredibly knowledgeable and trustworthy. He meticulously planned out the itinerary down to where the best food spots were, what times we should be where, where the best anchor spots were, attractions for each island, etc. and pretty much handled the booking for everything. He was able to fit everyone’s needs even if some people were looking for a different kind of activity or direction. I had never been on a sailing trip before this one, but didn’t feel unsafe or uncomfortable at all due to his direction and ability to captain the sailboat. If you decide to go on any trip with Lowtide, you won’t regret it and I recommend going with a good group of friends. The Sicilian trip specifically was full of sunshine, blue water, amazing food and don’t skip out on exploring Stromboli or Lipari if you’re into science & volcanoes. Bring lots of sunscreen and some active clothes if you like to hike!Verified Sardinia was a dream come true! This week was absolutely incredible as we sailed the coastline of Sardinia! Captain Dan showed me how to tie a cleat and work the anchor windlass all in the first hour I was on board! Capt Dans genuine personality, stunning looks and hilarious sense of humor made this a vacation to remember.
